The Fender musical revolution started before the birth of rock music, just after the end of WW2.
After reading Teagle and Sprung's excellent Fender amp book, I took them up on their challenge that maybe someday someone will compile enough serial numbers so that Fender amps can be dated that way. I contacted several Fenders collectors and dealers who were kind enough to supply me with data. This nice original one owner 1956 Fender Champ Lap Guitar is in excellent original condition. Guitar was obviously played a lot in the 12th position on the high strings.Normal playing wear on the body such as a few dings and dents, but overall very shiny and great looking. Marker Board (Fretboard) is edge worn in that area. The Blues Junior is a tube guitar amplifier introduced in 1995 by the Fender company. It is aimed at achieving the warm, tube-driven tone common in many styles of American blues and blues rock dating back to the 1950s, while remaining both portable and affordable. Many green board models have excessive noise in the reverb circuit, as the signal is inserted into the reverb after the master volume. The later circuit boards are cream or tan colored and sound "brighter" or more treble-oriented, with the reverb situated before the Master volume. The Fender Blues Junior is most similar to the Fender Blues Deluxe, which adds a "drive" channel, an effects loop, and uses 6L6GC output tubes for 40 watts of rated output.Like many Fender amplifiers (particularly in the Hot Rod series), many limited edition versions of the Blues Junior have been manufactured since its introduction in 1995.Fender guitar amps have been a constant in rock music, featuring legendary clean tones, lush spring reverbs and, in the case of the newest solid-state models, some of the best modeling and built-in digital effects available today. After all, with so many different models, it may get a bit complicated...so let's go back a bit to have a look at the history of Fender amps, at some famous users, and find out which are the best Fender amps you can find today!
